Central Dallas CDC guides construction efforts with the purpose to end homelessness and provide access to mixed-income housing in the city of Dallas.

​Central Dallas CDC approaches ending homelessness by implementing the innovative model ‘Housing First’. The ‘Housing First’ model is an approach that prioritizes providing permanent housing to homeless, incorporates direct access to social services as needed, and installs self-sufficiency and a strong sense of community among tenants.
